The Gate-Way plugs right into the OEM connectors that original plugged into the factory ECU. Then the Gate-Way harness plugs into the Holley ECU and Ti-VCT control. No need to do any custom wiring.
Once you have installed the Gate-Way/ Holley EFI and have it setup on your car. You can switch to the Gate-Way/ Holley EFI from factory ECU at the track in about 15 minutes.
Then back to Factory ecu for the ride home.
The Gate-Way #GWMF-1114 works with the following EFI systems:
554-114 Holley Dominator ECU with the 554-100 NTK wideband
and the 554-145 Holley Ti-VCT Control Module
Or
554-153 Holley Terminator X Max ECU which will work with the existing factory 6.9 Ford wideband
and the 554-145 Holley Ti-VCT Control Module
The Gate-Way software will allow you to adjust your speedometer /odometer for gear or tire changes
With the Gate-Way. On the 2011-2014 GT dashes. You will lose the function of the factory cruise control / traction control and one touch start-up. On the dash display. You will lose miles per gallon, miles to empty and inlet air temp.
Holley EFI or Holley Terminator X Max ECUs does not control the Ford 6R80 transmission.
If you have a Mustang GT equipped with the 6R80 transmission and wish to retain the 6R80 transmission, you will need to purchase a US Shift Quick 6 controller box and a RACE #US-M1114 harness.
This will allow the US Shift controller to connect to the Gate-Way with just a little extra wiring.
