DPWK-001 - Dual Pump Wiring Kit, MP150/280 F99 GSS

A dual in-tank harness must be selected for either standard Walbro-type (GSS) connectors (RXP255E/RXP340E) or ST340/W450/525 pumps (E85 DCSS pumps with Delphi Metri-Pack in-line connector). A pressure switch must be selected to activate the secondary pump under boost. The pressure should be selected so that the secondary pump activates approximately 100-150HP before the primary pump runs out of fuel. Selecting a pressure switch that is too low will cause pressure spikes (over fueling) and premature pump failure from constant cycling. Selecting a pressure that is too high will cause a lean condition and motor damage. Typical pressure is 7-10 PSI for most V8 applications and 15PSI for most V6 applications using gasoline and 255/340LPH pumps. The pump volume (255/340/450/525), type of fuel, motor efficiency, target A/F and pump voltage will influence this calculation.
